How we handle your data — in plain language.
Anonymous analytics
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) and Vercel Analytics to understand how people use TrueSight — which pages are visited and how the product flows. These analytics are aggregated and anonymous.
No personal data in analytics
We never send personal information to our analytics tools — no email, no Discord ID, no real name. Events describe actions (e.g. "a profile was viewed"), not identities.
Cookies & consent
Analytics cookies are only set after you accept the banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored and nothing is tracked. Vercel Analytics is cookieless. You can change your mind by clearing your browser storage.
Your account
Signing in uses Discord. We store your profile data (in-game name, CODM UID, Discord ID and stats) in Supabase to run the service — matches, rankings and your public profile. This is separate from analytics and never sent to analytics tools.
Ghost profiles (unclaimed players)
Some player and team profiles are created by our staff from publicly available tournament results (brackets, scoreboards, published rosters), under legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f) — the competitive scene needs a reliable archive. These "ghost" profiles contain competitive data only. If one is about you, you can claim it to take ownership, or request its correction or removal at any time via the contact below.
